For us, supporting the NUNSA UNILAG 11th Annual Health Week was about more than sponsorship. It was about showing up, staying engaged, and investing in the next generation of healthcare workers.
And throughout the week, that is exactly what we did.
We kicked off with Awareness Day, joining the students for a Walk Against Nursing Quackery, raising awareness about the importance of qualified nursing care and standing with the next generation of nurses as they advocated for professionalism and integrity in healthcare.
At the Symposium, we moved from awareness to conversation, engaging directly with students, sharing knowledge, and connecting with young people who will play an important role in the future of healthcare in Nigeria.
Sports Day brought a different kind of energy. We showed up to support the students beyond the classroom, celebrating teamwork, wellness, and the spirit of community that is essential to every great healthcare team.
At Variety Night, we celebrated the personalities, creativity, and talent behind the scrubs. As part of our commitment to giving students greater exposure to the healthcare industry, the winners of Mr. and Miss NUNSA were awarded an exclusive tour of our manufacturing facility to experience local healthcare manufacturing firsthand.
We concluded the week with the Medical Outreach, where the impact moved beyond the campus and into the community.
Through our sponsorship, we empowered the student body to extend their impact by supporting the donation of Afriject syringes to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and Isolo Primary Healthcare Centre.
From awareness and education to wellness, celebration, and community service, we were proud to be on the ground throughout the week, supporting the activities, engaging with students, and creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of healthcare professionals.
This is what impact means to us, supporting young healthcare professionals, creating opportunities for them to contribute, and giving them the tools to make a difference in their communities.
Because positively impacting lives also means investing in the people who will care for them tomorrow.
