WHX Lagos 2026 brought together the people shaping healthcare across West Africa and Afrimedical was right in the middle of it.

As one of Nigeria's leading medical consumables manufacturers, we came to the exhibition with a clear message: quality healthcare products can, and should, be made here.

Our booth gave visitors a first-hand look at our locally manufactured product line - Afriject syringes, AfriNeedles, and AfriMasks. Healthcare professionals, procurement officers, distributors, and development partners stopped by, and the conversations were exactly the kind that move the industry forward: quality standards, supply chain resilience, import substitution, and what sustainable local manufacturing actually looks like in practice.

Nigeria's healthcare system cannot afford to depend entirely on imported consumables. Every syringe, needle, and mask produced locally is a step toward a more reliable, more affordable, and more self-sufficient healthcare supply chain. WHX Lagos is the room where those conversations happen and Afrimedical intends to keep showing up.

Beyond the booth, the exhibition opened doors to new partnerships with healthcare institutions, government agencies, and private sector players who share our vision. The insights we gained will directly inform how we grow in capacity, in reach, and in impact.
